This cosy and romantic pub - found on a quiet corner of Bloomsbury - is a charming choice for your wedding day and can offer everything from exclusive hire through to intimate private dining rooms for smaller celebrations. The venue itself is named after Lady Ottoline Morrell, society hostess and patron of the Bloomsbury Historical Group - a collection of writers, artists and philosophers from the early 20th-Century - which just adds to the elegance and charm of this wedding location.

The picture-perfect pub has a choice of areas for hire that would be ideal for your special day. If you are hosting an intimate wedding day for up to 14 people then The Morrell Room would be perfect. This private dining room is flooded with natural light in the summer and can be romantically lit by candlelight in the winter. Larger parties may prefer to hire the dining room on the first floor which can seat up to 40 guests for a sit down dinner. The venue is also licensed for ceremonies if you wish to book a local registrar.

Morrell Room

Flooded with natural light in the summer and filled with a candle-lit glow in the winter months, the room oozes charm and character. This room is perfect from intimate celebratory meals to hosting meetings. This room can seat a maximum of 16 guests for a sit down meal or stand 20 guests for a standing set up. Both our A La Cart or Buffet menu will be suitable for either set up including delicious items catering to all dietary requirements. This room includes a large screen and projector, ideal to get out of the office and host a meeting along with some great food.

Dining Room

Our beautiful upstairs dining room offers a welcoming space for you to celebrate special occasions! Hire the whole room privately for all types of events such as corporate events, after work celebrations, birthdays, engagements, or event for your special wedding day! No matter the occasion, our events team will make sure everything runs smoothly so you don't have to. Our spacious dining room can seat 35 guests or stand 45 guests, All furniture is movable to create various table plans or a standing/mingling event. We offer both a sit down meal and a buffet menu, both menus including delicious items with options to cater for all dietary requirements.

Our pricing is bespoke and based on the date, time and number of guests.

Cancellation Policy

The deposit is refundable if cancellations are made more than 28 days. Any later than this and we’re afraid it becomes non-refundable unless due to unfortunate circumstances. If you are to cancel within 7 days of the booking date the pre-ordered food may still be required to be paid for.
