The Coach Clerkenwell is a long-standing City pub with rooms that is able to host wedding receptions. The venue’s central location, strong transport links and on-site accommodation (there are four, boutique en-suite rooms available) make it an attractive proposition for intimate wedding parties.
The Coach Clerkenwell offers three dedicated event spaces in which you can mark your special day, as well as offering a range of set menus (from ‘grazing’ through to ‘feasting’), which champion quality British produce while also making use of French techniques. There is also the option to create an entirely bespoke menu to match the needs of you and your wedding guests.
For micro-weddings, opt for the private dining Blue Room, a charming and intimate space which can welcome up to 10 seated guests. As its name suggests, The Blue Room is decked out in shades of royal blue and the walls are lined with stunning artworks, while guests are seated around a singular oval-shaped table, ensuring that everyone gets a chance to be a part of the conversation.
Larger parties can instead plump for The Garden Room & Terrace, a high-ceiling, spacious room which is well suited to summer weddings. The space is something of a blank canvas and benefits from plenty of natural light thanks to large floor-to-ceiling windows on one side of the room. This space can welcome up to 40 seated guests, while in fine weather, you can also make use of The Coach’s charming outdoor terrace.
The final, and largest, private space at The Coach Clerkenwell is its first-floor dining room, which can welcome up to 50 seated guests or 70 standing. Painted in shades of mint green and with natural light flooding in through various windows, this is a whimsical and romantic space well suited to wedding breakfasts or standing receptions.
