Located just a short walk from Turnham Green Station, and blessed with several rooms, weddings at The Hound are flexible. You can hire a combination, or opt for exclusive use of the entire pub for up to 180 guests. Perhaps you’ll begin in the front room, a cosy space adjacent to the bar with tall floor-to-ceiling bay windows and plenty of space for drinks and canape reception of up to 40 guests.
Alternatively, you might opt for a 60-person standing reception in The Courtyard, a spacious area with thoughtful planting and a retractable roof in case the weather turns. For a traditional wedding breakfast the main private dining room, affectionately dubbed ‘The Clink’ is a standout choice for an intimate meal. Decorated in warming deep greens and browns, it seats 18 guests on dark wood banquet-style tables underneath exposed brick ceilings formed for three former prison cells. Adjacent to the room are two wine cellars with the original jail bars and prison doors kept in situ. It’s not all history at The Hound.
If you’re planning for wedding videos, there’s a large screen available. Plus, towards the back of the pub, you’ll also find The Green Room, with seating for up to 30, a high-definition projector and the possibility of live entertainment and DJs.
