Nestled in the heart of the City of London, Furniture Makers' Hall offers a unique blend of Victorian elegance and modern sophistication for your wedding day. There are various spaces to choose from, stretching from traditionally styled rooms with original features and bespoke wood furniture to contemporary settings that cater to diverse tastes. Weddings at Furniture Makers’ Hall allow couples to make the most of a leading event management team and bespoke catering from Life’s Kitchen.
Originally constructed in 1882, Furniture Makers’ Hall boasts an ornate oak staircase running through the centre of the building which can add a touch of grandeur to already memorable wedding photos. But it’s the celebration spaces that are the real draw. The largest is The David Burbridge room, a ground-floor wedding reception venue for up to 120 with high ceilings suited to banquet-style dinners and drinks receptions.
Alternatively, for smaller celebrations with 20 guests standings, The Arnold Moore Room offers a simple but elegant wood-panelled space with plenty of natural light from windows that look out towards the Dutch Church. Then there’s The Mike Clare Room, a first-floor location perfected for smaller wedding feasts of 16 with ornate cornicing, a carved wood and marble fireplace, and tall sash windows.
Life’s Kitchen offers brilliant packages for weddings at the Furniture Makers’ Hall. Depending on your special vision for the big day, you could start with a prosecco reception accompanied by canapes of your choice served with parmesan and olives. As for the wedding breakfast, it's a three-course seasonal affair to be enjoyed at gorgeous tables lit by candelabras before finishing up with coffee and petit fours. Plus, you won’t have to worry about additional costs for staffing, crockery, glassware and linens. This is a highly experienced team, there’s also a fine list of suppliers to book as part of your wedding package.
