Originally built in 1882, Furniture Maker’s Hall is a Victorian venue that’s now used as a historic space for meetings, workshops, conferences, and more. Nestled in the heart of the City of London, just moments from Liverpool Street, Moorgate and Bank tube stations, it boasts fantastic transport links for attendees travelling from further afield. And for anyone who books an event here, you’ll gain access to a high-quality event management team, technical supply and bespoke catering courtesy of Life’s Kitchen.
There are three spaces available to hire at Furniture Maker’s Hall. The largest is The David Burbridge room, a beautiful space on the ground floor of the venue perfect for dinners, receptions and conferences. It’s able to hold 120 standing guests, or 80 for dinner, and boasts high ceilings, period features and plenty of natural daylight thanks to large windows. You can choose to set the room up meeting, banquet or theatre style, while a fully integrated AV system with a projector and retractable screen offers hybrid solutions for conferences and meetings.
The Mike Clare room on the first floor is slightly smaller, for 30 standing guests or 16 seated, and is accessible via a grand spiral staircase. Here, ornate cornicing, a marble fireplace, high ceilings and a chandelier offer an impressive setting for work meetings or informal receptions.
Finally, the Arnold Moore room is an elegant wood-panelled room suited to dinners and other intimate events, like interviews and presentations. It can cater for up to 20 standing guests, or 10 seated.
Catering is taken care of by Life’s Kitchen who will work with you to create a bespoke menu for your event using high quality, seasonal ingredients.
