Cambridgeshire is a county in the east of England and is bordered by Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, and Hertfordshire to name just a few. You may know Cambridgeshire as the home to the University of Cambridge, the world's third-oldest university in continuous operation and part of the Oxbridge portmanteau. But as wedding venues in Cambridge show, there are glorious old buildings throughout this green county from manor houses to country estates and inns that have stood for 400 years. There is so much to do, including taking a day trip to explore its popular racecourse, witnessing the beauty of its cathedrals and strolling around its many museums. If you enjoy the history of our isle, take a visit to the Bronze Age living at Flag Fen Archaeology Park, and travel back over 3,500 years to discover a prehistoric causeway, or explore Nene Park in the River Nene Valley.
