With so many brilliant venues in London, it can be hard to find just the right spot for your event. But, if you're looking for a restaurant with an enthusiastic focus on authentic Italian cuisine, years of experience and an exclusive dining space, we think Enoteca Turi could be the one.
Nestled in the heart of Chelsea, Enoteca Turi was founded by Pam and Giuseppe Turi back in 1990 (though, at that time in Putney) and for 30 years has been a favourite of locals and visitors alike in South West London.
In 2023, the pair decided to hand over the reins to the very capable industry veteran Dominic Ford, alongside founder of Liberty Wines David Gleave MW. Together, they promise to continue the restaurant's legacy and acclaimed focus on quality ingredients and a curated wine list, all from Italy.
The private dining cellar sits underneath the restaurant in a cosy enclave. The walls are hued a rich, moody charcoal, industrial-style spotlights create an atmospheric feel and there's even a small, electric fire, to maximise this intimate space in the best way possible.
With a central dining table which boasts 28 seats, this is a gorgeous place for a special dinner. Be it a birthday, wedding breakfast or client meeting, the team will go above and beyond to ensure your time runs smoothly. Private dining bookings are encouraged to order from the set menu which changes with the seasons.
This includes a three-course meal with a selection of options for each. For example, previous starters have included thinly sliced veal with tuna sauce, capers and pickled onion, alongside burrata with heritage tomatoes and basil cress.
Mains have included fillet of lightly salted cod with fresh borlotti beans and girolle mushrooms, as well as roast and braised rabbit with carrot, onion, celery and olives. While desserts could look like flourless Venetian chocolate cake with passion fruit sorbet.
