Found on the King’s Road, Chelsea Old Town Hall is a Grade-II listed Victorian building which has been thoughtfully restored to its former glory. In the past, this venue has played host to the nuptials of famous names including Judy Garland and Hugh Grant, but it’s not all about romance here - this is also a versatile events venue, able to accommodate a whole range of personal and corporate celebrations.
Chelsea Old Town Hall offers four dedicated event spaces to choose from. The first and largest is The Main Hall, which can welcome up to 400 standing guests. The striking space features vaulted ceilings, marble columns, sprung wooden floor and cove lighting, plus original oil paintings and ornate wooden panelling. While the interiors here will take you back in time, the facilities are bang up to date and include technical audio and visual aids.
Adjacent to The Main Hall, you will find The Small Hall, which is ideal for luncheons, meetings and presentations and can accommodate up to 180 guests for a standing reception. It is a light and airy space, complete with a gorgeous ornate fireplace, as well as blackout facilities and AV equipment.
The third space at Chelsea Old Town Hall is The Cadogan Suite, an intimate function room that can host up to 120 guests for a standing reception and boasts intricate floral wallpaper, pale blue accents and a marble clad fireplace. The space adjoins to the Ante Room, which comes complete with wall sconces and a corner fireplace and is best used as a breakout space or for casual drinks receptions.
The well-served location of Chelsea Old Town Hall also adds to its appeal: the venue is only a short distance from Sloane Square and South Kensington underground tube stations, while London’s airports are within driving distance.
