On the beautiful Swansea Bay you will find the West Cross Inn, a well loved pub style restaurant that has been run by the same dedicated family since 1992. With stunning views of the bay, this gastro pub offers a relaxed dining experience with its cosy conservatory restaurant and family friendly beer garden. This pub has become a very popular spot for both walkers and cyclists that are travelling through the nearby coastal path, and the inn has a main lounge bar with the conservatory restaurant and a cosy function room downstairs. During busy periods, such as Sunday lunch, reservations are highly recommended as the inn tends to reach full capacity quite quickly with locals.
For the table, enjoy some cod goujons, honey and mustard porkies in a bowl, and flatbread with hummus and olives. These dishes are great for sharing out amongst your party whilst you peruse the menu. Crispy sweet chilli chicken with sesame and spring onion, along with a beetroot and fet salad with orange and shallot dressing, and cauliflower and garlic soup with toasted almonds and croutons are all on the menu, so you know that you'll find something especially delicious to begin your meal. Next up, try the cajun salmon with salsa and fried baby potatoes, or mussels in a creamy white wine and garlic broth if you like seafood and fish. For vegetarians, try the Sri Lankan squash and chickpea curry with rice and warm chapati bread, whilst meat eaters may like the pub classic of hunter's chicken, chicken balti curry with chips, rice, naan bread and chutney, or the steaks that are grilled to order. Be sure to wash things down with a pint of locally sourced ale, and a delicious, homemade dessert.
On Sundays The West Cross Inn serves a roast. The starters are the same as those on the main menu; beef, chicken or pork are the meat options. Vegetarians have a Beyond Meat, butterbean and vegetable roast.
