Twisted Indian street food is an excellent spot for dining in Blackpool, and is one where traditional Indian food meets modern, a spot where global meets desi, and the evolution of classic, authentic dishes is embraced and encouraged. The name comes from the team having the idea to showcase a wide range of flavours and creative flair. The team are proud to say, though, that when they say a curry or dish is traditional, that it really is. Here, you won't find added preservatives or flavours that aren't needed – instead, things are just as they should be.
Start your meal with a range of delicious starters. Choose from lamb, chicken, cheese or vegetable samosas with a salad and homemade chutneys, or a classic pakora made with fried onion and potato with delicious homemade spices. Other starters include the chicken and lamb seekh rolls with chapati, along with lamb or chicken tikka dishes. Next up, enjoy the mixed grill with a range of all of the above, including chicken drumsticks, thighs, lamb chops and sides. For your main, why not enjoy the classic, simple chicken curry, made with home cooked chicken that is so soft it falls off the bone. Of course, you'll find all the popular curries of keema, tikka masala, karahi and others. If you're not a meat eater, then try the tarka daal which is a perfect comfort food dish, some aloo gobi, okra ladies fingers, or a chickpea and potato curry.
Biryani dishes come with a curry sauce to your liking, and you can choose between a vegetable biryani dish with basmati rice and seasonal vegetables, chicken, lamb, or king prawn. For Twisted specials, try the spicy chicken burger that is served on a brioche bun, with green chutney, red onions and a fried egg, and homemade chilli chips on the side.
