Stanley’s Bar & Grill is a theatre style restaurant, and a great spot to meet up with loved ones and enjoy some delicious British food. If you like to be in on the action, you can choose to watch the kitchen team work up their magic in the kitchen, or take a seat that makes sure you get wonderful views over the waters of Stanley Dock. Stanley’s Bar & Grill serves everything from afternoon tea to light lunches and evening meals, and has a great wine list too. Each of the dishes is designed in-house to reflect fresh seasonal produce, so you know that you’ll be getting a great meal at Stanley’s Bar & Grill.
The a la carte menu at Stanley’s Bar & Grill kicks off with starters like ham and chicken terrine, garlic king prawns with fire-roasted red pepper ragu, and Blacksticks blue cheese mousse with white wine poached pear and glazed walnuts. If you fancy a lighter starter, try the homemade soup of the day with a crusty bread roll and farm butter or chickpea hummus with flatbreads.
The main event includes pan-seared duck breast with puy lentil ragu, charred pork fillet with celeriac fondant and crispy parma ham, and half roast chicken with smoked garlic aioli, skin on fries, and pan gravy. There is also a pasta selection, which includes a penne alla norma, slow-cooked lamb shoulder fusilli, and sweet chilli prawn linguine.
There’s also a whole section dedicated to plant-based and meat-free dishes, which includes the likes of grilled aubergine kofta, veggie sausage and mash, and chargrilled ‘beef’ burger on toasted brioche. If you are a meat eater however, then the Titanic butcher’s block section is a must, offering various British-reared steaks, all dry-aged for 28 days and served with red onion ham, confit tomato and fries.
