Colonial-style seating & polished marble floors lend a relaxed, elegant feel to this well-spaced & comfortable dining room overlooking the gardens of the Powder Mills estate. A competent kitchen puts global spin on classical French technique in dishes like pan-seared guinea fowl with a red onion farce, macedoine of vegetables, creamed potatoes, Madeira sauce.

Going downhill

We ate here a year ago. The food was extrodinary the place was buzzing. Fast forward 12 months and it is a shadow of its former self. The food lacked any passaz, a great disappointment on a special birthday. Times may be hard but  standards hard won need to be maintained.
