The Oak Tree Norwich

We  booked on a Sunday. The roast was very dry (pork) and the carrots were like rubber. Perhaps to make up for that, the plate was loaded with roast potatoes and mash ! Having asked for replaced vegetables, the new plate was the same. Sorry but I cannot recommend this hostlery.

We enjoyed an evening meal with family members and were able to take our well behaved dogs with us. If I have one criticism it's that a few more vegetables would be nice with the lamb shank. 

Very happy to return for the second time. I can recommend the fish pie and the beef pie was amazing.  As for dessert the brownie was delicious so I ordered it again on the second visit. A decent price and an excellent quality of the food. Bringing hubby for our 50th anniversary.  Will come again often.

Definitely essential to book for sunday lunch! We booked for 130pm and the restaurant was almost full when we arrived.  Food took a little while to arrive, which we expected with how busy it was but was very good.  

sadly my favourite Roast Lamb had run out but I enjoyed the Roast Pork

Booked a table for 17:45..We had Sunday roast meals which we'd had before on a Sunday lunchtime.. Not so good quality this time.. obviously reheated meal and no crackling with my pork meal as advertised.. wife had a latte which was Luke warm..Shame as I've bigged the food/drink up on previous visits.

The food was very good and it was a pleasant atmosophere (Monday visit)
