The Moon in Cardiff stands on Womanby Street and is a vibrant non profit hub, the home of a live music venue, bar, and club with a capacity of 140. Beyond the everyday, The Moon put on a selection of experiences from time to time, including gigs, club nights, music community events, all dayers, fundraisers, and intimate festivals. Operated by Creative Republic of Cardiff, The Moon’s non profit ethos ensures that funds are reinvested to enhance the venue and support the local music scene. It’s worth noting that The Moon hosts monthly events tailored for adults with learning and/or physical disabilities and/or mental health conditions, which is a collaboration with Student Volunteering Cardiff.
Everything is about catering to vegan appetites here at The Moon. Every Sunday, enjoy the rich flavours of roasted seitan, complemented by herby sausages, creamy leek, cheesy broccoli, roasties, Yorkshire puddings, and maple roasted carrots and parsnips, all elegantly drizzled with rich gravy. The Moon burger is inviting with its handmade beefless patty adorned with bacon, gherkin, lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion rings, and the crowning glory of our signature burger sauce, accompanied by a generous serving of skinny fries. The dirty fries are delicious, which are skinny fries loaded with bacon, shredded chicken and cheese, and you can choose from garlic sauce, gherkins and ketchup, or Moon sauce with sriracha and jalapenos.
For those seeking a fiery kick, the burning comet burger awaits you, with jalapeños, mushrooms and onions, lettuce, cheese, sriracha, and the exclusive Moon hot sauce. The menu extends to the sweet ealms with delectable handmade vegan crepes, crowned with vanilla bean ice cream, whipped cream, and your choice of delicious toppings like banana & chocolate, berries, or the irresistible 'not-ella.'
