The philosophy at the Inn has always been based on quality and good, honest local produce, coupled with a stylish, stripped back atmosphere and attention to detail from a team with vision and passion. David and Gillian Pinchbeck’s latest venture is undoubtedly a pioneering example of the evolution of the gastro-pub; great food in a laid-back setting.
The menu has a strong, seasonal influence, and reflects the best in contemporary British cuisine whilst drawing inspiration from classic dishes around the world. The winter menu includes sautéed chicken livers with black pudding potato cake, buttered spinach, beetroot & bacon crisp, as well as slow cooked Herefordshire lamb shoulder with braised red cabbage, hot pot hash brown, glazed parsnips, and rich lamb cooking liquor. As for the wine list, it's an eclectic collection of well-priced, interesting finds, which hint at the owners’ personal enjoyment of a great bottle.
