About

If you’re in Bristol, escape the business of Gloucester Road at The Grace, where the team have proudly served the community with small plates and Dutch courage for nine years. This is more than just a pub or somewhere to grab a bite to eat, it’ll easily become your favourite, and you’ll be excited to head back for more. Guiding the culinary greatness in the kitchen is the expertise of head chef Mark Stevens. With classical training and a keen focus on ingredients, Mark and the kitchen team highlight local and seasonal produce, presenting a range of world inspired small plates crafted for sharing (but not always).  The restaurant itself is designed with a laid back and unpretentious approach, so you know that here you can feel like you’re at home.

Snacks to munch on whilst you’re deciding what to order range from jamon iberico croquettes with manchego and aioli, to onion bhajis with chive and cashew cream, and a delicious charcuterie of lomo and salchichon bellota with caper berries and cornichons. Slightly larger plates include Korean style duck wings with leeks, spring onion, chilli and peanuts, a delicious pan roast bream with braised fennel and tomatoes and Cafe de Paris butter, and a rich and rare West Country hanger steak with fried potatoes with salsa verde. If you want something a little different, try the bomba rice stuffed piquillo peppers with hot sauce, or the peach, feta and green bean salad with almonds and coriander sauce. On the side, you can enjoy triple cooked potato chunks with tomato chutney and aioli, or buttery grilled corn on the cob with seaweed and Old Bay seasoning.
