arrived to be told they had no reference of my booking. Was told they had no tonic water, ginger ale, ginger beer (though the barman did go and check if any had been delivered). Was told that we couldn't order food as there was a table of 25 and the one chef couldn't cope. The extremely nice bar man managed to persuade the chef to do our meal after I explained it was our booked Christmas meal for my family (of 4). No Lasagne available. Unfortunately the chips on 2 of the meals were cold and no eggs on the 2 full English breakfasts plates (we said nothing as grateful to have got anything). Asked 3 times for desert and told to try later. Did but the 'mountain' was out of stock. Was told would check as it hadn't been up dated but after 30 mins we left as the poor one barman (Jordan) hadn't been able to leave the bar and often had a queue of people waiting. He was great and really tried his best (the 3 stars are for him alone!) to rectify but was beyond his control. The bad atmosphere from other disapointed customers complaining ruined the atmosphere further. Poor management, Would never go again.
