About

The Crafty Egg is a welcoming and modern feel café bar found in the heart of Bristol. The brand’s journey began back in February 2016 with the launch of their first brunch spot in Stokes Croft. Over the years, they have organically grown, earning the love of locals and visitors alike.

During the Covid-19 pandemic and prioritising everyone's safety, the team at The Craft Egg were clever to transform the space into a lush green haven for Bristol’s residents, adorned with a variety of plants. And, upon embracing tis silver lining, the team discovered that a reduced capacity cultivated a more intimate and enjoyable setting for both the staff and customers, which has now become a celebrated facet of The Craft Egg’s distinctive identity. At The Crafty Egg, the team’s passion lies in making a welcoming space for friends and families to gather, along with serving up great food, of course.

The menu begins with the veggie crafty breakfast dish, made with a veggie patty, halloumi, potatoes, mushrooms, kale, beans, tomato salsa, homemade brown sauce, a fried egg and toast. There are also vegan and meat breakfast options, and a dish of meaty poutine with roasted potatoes, a sausage, a few slices of bacon, house brown sauce drizzle and bacon gravy, mozzarella cheese, a fried egg and chives. At brunch, the avocado and pea smash is on the menu, a delicious mix of the two blended with preserved lemon, spring onion and mint, served on sourdough toast with roasted cherry tomatoes. If you prefer something sweet, try the pancakes with salted butterscotch sauce, maple syrup and icing sugar, and additional toppings of bacon, berry compote or banana and Nutella.
