Cosy Club in Cardiff is located in the heart of the city centre. Just a stone's throw away from the main train station, and just outside the doors of the St Davids shopping centre, Cosy Club is the perfect spot for romantic dinners, last minute brunches, and even just a cup of tea as you take a break from shopping and the busy city life. With the chain beginning in 2002 as the Loungers, as a brainchild of three close friends - Dave Reid, Alex Reilley, and Jake Bishop who had a background steeped in the restaurant and bar industry, the trio created a place where they could enjoy a drink themselves.
In 2010, Cosy Club entered the mix and the restaurants continued to evolve, driven by the simple yet powerful idea of creating welcoming spaces for people to relax and enjoy good food and drinks. Now, you’ll find them located all over the country. With warm, eclectic settings that are adorned with vintage furniture, the menus at the Cosy Club are a mix of traditional favourites and modern twists.
Cosy Club offers a breakfast to begin your day with a flavouful chorizo hash, featuring chorizo, twice cooked skin on potatoes, fried egg, spinach, red peppers, tomatoes, pink pickled onions, Aleppo chilli, garlic aioli, chives, and lime. For lunch, enjoy a small plate of treacle cured pork belly bites topped with a cider and mustard glaze, potato, and chive rosti, and complemented by pink pickled onions. As the night draws in, indulge in a dinner dish of massaman cauliflower, a deliciously rich dish crafted with massaman sauce, butterbeans, raita, flatbread, pink pickled onions, toasted coconut, chilli, and coriander oil. Children are well catered for, with their own menu, and there are frequently deals on the deliciously crafted cocktails.
