Experience the charm of The Church Inn, where a warm welcome, fantastic food, and real ales await you. The Church Inn takes pride in using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to craft a menu filled with hearty pub classics, perfect for nibbling on with your drinks or enjoying a satisfying meal with friends. Alongside the selection of wines, beers, and ales, you'll find a delectable range of pies and traditional British desserts for both lunch and dinner.
The Church Inn, nestled in the heart of the picturesque Shropshire town of Ludlow, resides within a Grade II listed building that exudes the warmth and character one would expect from a structure that originated as a 14th-Century house. Open year-round, you can expect to savour traditional and hearty British pub fare within contemporary and inviting surroundings. The art of hospitality runs deep in the genes of brothers Claude & Cedric Bosi. Their upbringing in a family-owned bistro in Lyon instilled in them from a young age the significance of creating a welcoming, home-away-from-home atmosphere for every guest who walks through the doors.
One of our standout features is the hand-picked selection of ales, proudly sourced from local breweries in Shropshire and the neighbouring West Midlands. These ales add an extra layer of authenticity to your visit, enhancing your experience at The Church Inn. Although the menu isn't extensive, it does include some scrumptious dishes. Choose from starters of a slow braised pig head and cheeks terrine with confit shallots or Greek salad with heritage cherry tomatoes, cucumber, kalamata olives, red onion and feta. For your main, choose from Cornish lemon sole with Jersey Royal potatoes, seasonal greens and anchovy butter or a beef and ale pie made with 14 hours braised grass fed beef. Don't skip pudding! Try the peach melba sundae or classic rum baba with Ludlow spiced rum chantilly and frozen raspberries.
