The Blues Kitchen, Manchester, is a lively and vibrant bar and restaurant serving a good selection of American inspired dishes including a brunch menu, bar menu and cocktails. The interior is dark and moody with contemporary furnishings, glowing lanterns and a striking feature-stained glass window. You will find plenty of seating, and an upstairs live music area.
The Blues Kitchen day menu features the ‘lunch for a tenner’ offer which includes any dish plus a soft drink for £10.00. You can also upgrade the offer with plenty of tempting sounding side dishes and sharers. The menu includes many popular favourites such as fried chicken served with coleslaw and fries, and a grass-fed beef burger served with American cheese, Big Mac sauce, fries and salad. There is also a vegan cheeseburger, plus several vegetarian options such as the green reuben roll served with charred greens and pickles, and the red pepper and bean vegetarian chilli.
You will find plenty of choice on the bar menu with many American inspired favourites such as buffalo chicken wings and buffalo cauliflower, as well as smoked ox cheek nuggets served with chipotle mayo and a veggie feast which includes padron peppers, buffalo cauliflower, and corn ribs.
Those with a sweet tooth may want to try the Oreo donuts, served with toffee sauce, or the white chocolate and ginger cheesecake served with caramelised banana.
There is also a milkshake menu, including a vegan chocolate milkshake.
The Blues Kitchen has a good selection of beers wines and spirits, they also serve cocktails so if you’re looking for a post-dinner espresso martini or a burnt pear old fashioned you won’t be disappointed.
