Located in one of Manchester’s most vibrant neighbourhoods, Gino D’Acampo Manchester is an Italian bar and restaurant from recognisable TV chef Gino D’Acampo. Open from early morning to late night seven days a week, this restaurant covers all bases with menus for every time of day.
The restaurant features a sun-kissed terrace complete with games area, as well as a large circular Spritz Bar where guests can relax with a cocktail before or after their meal. The large open plan restaurant is bright and airy thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows that surround the space, and often hosts a DJ playing songs as you eat, and is designed to be equally beautiful and comfortable whether you’re visiting for a coffee in the morning or a celebration meal in the evening.
The menus stick to broad, recognisable Italian dishes, spread across antipasti, salads, pasta, pizza, risotto, mains and more. It kicks off with 'stuzzichini', Italian sharing boards, featuring Italian delicacies like parma ham, bresaola, salame Napoli, buffalo ricotta, olives, artichokes and more. Elsewhere on the menu, classic dishes include arancini with slow-cooked beef ragu, risotto al funghi, veal Milanese and a classic prawn ravioli with cherry tomatoes. There’s also a selection of aged steaks from the grill, with a choice of steak sauces. Plus, Gino D’Acampo Manchester serves children’s, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free menus, so everyone is taken care of.
The drinks menu leans into classic Italian mixes from Negronis to Aperol Spritzes, but there’s also a good selection of signature cocktails, ranging from The Pineapple Express (mango vodka, Aperol, passion fruit, pineapple and lime) to Gino & The Giant Peach (Aelred nectarine aperitif, Chamberyzette strawberry aperitif, Prosecco and soda). You'll also find zero-alcohol options for any non-drinkers, plus Italian wines, prosecco and Champagne.
