The Bay is a restaurant from the same team behind Babbacombe Bay, and provides diners with the most beautiful views of The English Riviera. The dishes you'll be served here are made with the best local ingredients that you can find in the local area. The coffee is triple certified, fair-trade and organic, and there's a whole bunch of local beers and spirits on offer.
Breakfast at The Bay is a little different to those you'll find elsewhere. Here, the most important meal of the day comes on a board for just one or for two. The classic board includes orange or apple juice, granola, yoghurt and compote, sausages, bacon, poached eggs, beans, black pudding, mushrooms, hash browns, cherry vine tomatoes, toast and preserves. So, you could say it's like a slightly fancier full English. There's a sweet board, too, with the likes of pancakes, berries, Biscoff or Nutella and waffles, whilst the veggie board includes halloumi and avocado. For simpler breakfasts, enjoy premium bagels, eggs your way or loaded hash browns.
As for the main menu, begin with some nibbles for the table, like the Greek marinated olives, garlic and sundried tomatoes and dough balls. Then it's straight into the burgers, each served in a seeded brioche bun with skin on fries, jumbo onion rings and red cabbage coleslaw. You can choose from fillings like the fish burger, buttermilk chicken and The Bay special. Also on the main menu are artisan sourdough pizzas, loaded Bay fries, and a series of small plates. We love the sound of the salt and pepper squid, build your own tacos and sticky sausages cooked in honey and sesame seeds.
