Everything at Tequila Mockingbird is playful, from the cactus shaped glasses to the copious amounts of sombreros ready for those photo opportunities. This is a place that invites you to unwind, let loose, and enjoy a cocktail or two - especially thanks to its daily happy hour which offers two for one on all cocktails.
The restaurant area is just a short trip downstairs, where you’ll find an underground hideaway that has a buzzing atmosphere and stylish design. The interior is dark and sophisticated, with plush navy seating and rich red walls made up of a combination of tiling and patterned wallpaper. With the addition of low-lit lighting and the occasional neon sign, it lends itself as a great date night spot.
You’re spoilt for choice with cocktails here, with 22 different concoctions on the menu. Choose between classics like an Old Fashioned, something tequila based like Tommy's Margarita or a Spritz, like the Dutty Wine which mixes St Remy XO Brandy, Cointreau, grenadine, cranberry and citrus finished with San Richard Rossa Spumante.
To eat, tuck into the pizza menu with four sourdough-based options offering something delicious for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. We like the sound of the Regina, with proscuitto ham, mushrooms and mozarella.
Tequila Mockingbird is also known for its larger than life bottomless brunches, where you’re welcomed with a Tequila Mockingbird signature cocktail, followed by free flowing cocktails, prosecco or beer, alongside some pizza. Plus, to keep the party going, there are plenty of games, entertainment and performances, so don’t be surprised if your civilised meal with friends turns into an afternoon of hitting a pinata whilst blindfolded, and doing the limbo in front of a crowded room.
