The Lygon Arms Tavern has been traditionally decorated throughout, it appears to have a cosy and inviting atmosphere, with plenty of soft lighting and seating to enjoy a relaxed meal.
Diners at The Tavern may find plenty of hearty favourites on the menu, with dishes such as Lygon Fried chicken served with chunky chips, mature cheddar and smoked ham toastie served with cheese sauce, and a Cornish 'fish finger dog’ served with tartar sauce and lemon.
The Tavern also has a number of sharing boards on the menu, including the ploughman's board which includes mature cheddar, apple, pickles and pork pie, and the Tavern Charcuterie board which is served with a selection of artisan meats and pickles. There is also a veggies board, which is served with hummus and grilled seasonal vegetables.
You will also find a selection of traditional ‘pub’ favourites on the dessert menu, including sticky toffee pudding served with clotted cream and butterscotch sauce, and ‘humble crumble’ served with vanilla ice cream.
The Tavern Bar menu has a good selection of Hawkstone brewery beer and lager, as well as plenty of good quality wines and spirits including Cotswolds gin and single malt whiskey. You will also find plenty of soft drinks on the menu, plus fresh coffee and tea.
