Star and Garter is a guest house in Falmouth with the most beautiful views. Small, with a friendly feel to it, you'll find en-suite apartments and rooms, along with a dining space that serves award winning food. If you are planning a Cornish getaway and need somewhere to enjoy some of the greatest food that Falmouth's Artisan Quarter has to offer, then check out Star and Garter. From Thursday through to Saturday, only guests are able to book tables, but walk-ins are welcome. In this 19th century pub, you will enjoy warm hospitality and incredible dishes.
The kitchen is run by Katy and Angus, who own the nearby Restaurant Mine, which is always praised as one of the best spots in Cornwall. The intimate dining room style space has a view of the Old High Street, and is perfect for a retreat after a busy day exploring Cornwall's stunning countryside and rugged coastline. You'll get the chance to enjoy delicious bar snacks, shareable small plates and moreish crab fritters that are served with a bisque mayo. If you like classics, try the golden yolk Scotch eggs or order a plate of Cornish cheeses. There are always sweet puds on the menu, and we couldn't possibly choose from what's on offer. On Sunday’s, there are hearty roasts on offer, which offer a perfect end to the week.
