With branches across the UK, including Manchester, Revolucion de Cuba has been able to perfect the art of a great night out. The Latin-inspired bar is lively, fun, and usually hosting some kind of special event to spice up your night.
The Manchester site can be found on Peter Street, just off Deansgate, so it’s ideally positioned on one of Manchester’s liveliest streets on a night out. With two floors worth of tables and dancefloors, you’ve got plenty of space to drink, eat, dance, and party the night away. The ground floor is the Havana Club Room, a space for late night partying and sampling Revolucion’s extensive range of rum. The first floor is the space to relax with food and cocktails, perfect for casual lunches, glamorous dinners, or fun drinks.
Speaking of, drinks are always flowing at Revolucion de Cuba, especially at Happy Hour, which sees cocktails two for £10 between 3 and 8pm Sunday to Friday – a huge window for you to get your drink fix. As you’d expect, the drinks menu is very much Cuban inspired, with plenty of exciting rum concoctions. Since it’s a venue that’s usually popular for large group celebrations, there are also plenty of shot boards and cocktail sharers available.
The main food menu is primarily made up of nibbles, small plates, and sharers that are very much tapas inspired. Think: chips and salsa, empanadas, tacos, patatas bravas and croquettes. There are also larger plates on offer, like fajitas, paellas, and burgers. Whether you’re after a full meal out, or just something to soak up the drink, you’ll more than likely find something to please on Revolucion’s menu.
At Revolucion de Cuba Manchester, live bands play every night from 6pm. As for other special additions, there are regular bottomless brunches on offer, where you’ll find lots of brunch classics, as well as some Latin inspired plates, like breakfast burritos, bacon quesadillas, and a churros tower.
