Located in Swansea Marina, The Pump House combines history with modern dining. Set in a restored pump house, it offers an industrial aesthetic with comfortable seating indoors and a spacious outdoor terrace overlooking the marina.
The menu features a blend of traditional pub fayre alongside specials, all crafted from locally sourced ingredients. Starters include mac and cheese, prawn cocktail, soup of the day and chicken wings. Sharing options are loaded fries or nachos, which can also be served vegan.
Main course options are headlined by the pub classics range. Beef lasagne, chicken tikka masala, fish and chips, and sausage and mash are all on offer. There’s also a kebab and fries range. This is a flatbread filled with tomato, cucumber, red onion and red peppers with a choice of salt and chilli chicken or doner meat.
The range of main courses from the grill is equally as broad. All dishes are served with half a tomato, button mushrooms, peas, onion rings and chips unless otherwise stated, including an 8oz rump steak. A mixed grill is also on offer. This features half a chicken breast, 4oz rump steak, 4oz gammon steak, two Cumberland pork sausages and a fried egg. Those wanting a burger won’t be short of choices. The five topping strong range features the likes of the ultimate spicy beef burger and the cowboy burger (two patties with crispy bacon and American-style cheese).
On Sundays The Pump House serves a roast. Beef and turkey are the two meat options, while vegetarians can choose from a spinach tart, cauliflower cheese tart or meat-free sausages.
