Aldeburgh is a coastal town in Suffolk. It doesn't have a very big population, but what it does have is plenty of coastal beauty. It's a charming and sweet seaside town but it hasn't stayed stuck in the old days, being quite fashionable and having plenty of modern touches. Aldeburgh grew from an old fishing town into a shipbuilding centre and you'll still see fishermen hauling their boats up the shingle beach and selling their catches every day. If seafood isn't quite your thing though, you'll still be able to enjoy the seaside fun by taking a visit to Fisher's Gin Distillery or enjoying a stroll along the pebbles.
