Situated in the historic town of Holmfirth ( home to the long-running BBC television series ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ ) Poppa Piccolinos is a family-friendly Italian Restaurant that was established nearly 20 years ago.
Poppa Piccolinos is owned and managed by husband and wife team, Lim & Jane. Originally from Malaysia and trained in America finest cooking school, the Culinary Institute of America. Lim’s career in catering industry has lead him to work in 5 star hotels in Malaysia and Bermuda to serving as Executive Chef onboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for 12 years.
Later, he was appointed as Executive Head Chef for world famous and Celebrity Chef, Anton Mosimann in London in 1996 for 2 years. He then joined Airtours / Sun Cruises as Head of Food Operations, where he spent 6 years managing onboard catering for four cruise ships. With an extensive management and culinary experience, Lim and Jane embarked on the challenging journey of a restaurant business and are proud to welcome you to their restaurant; Poppa Piccolinos.
