Located in the heart of Cardiff's city centre, Pho fills the gap for delicious Vietnamese cuisine in the area. In June 2005, Stephen and Juliette Wall brought the flavours of Vietnam to life by opening Pho. Their journey began in Vietnam, where they fell in love with the food, and the decision to start a restaurant serving pho was made while enjoying a bowl in Ho Chi Minh City. Now, 17 years later, Pho has evolved into a small group of restaurants across the country. Each kitchen serves up great value, healthy Vietnamese cuisine, prepared fresh daily.
This branch, in Cardiff, continues to bring the vibrant flavours of Vietnam to your table. Begin your meal with Pho’s crispy spring rolls, served with fresh lettuce and herbs for wrapping and dipping. For a burst of freshness, try the stir fried morning glory in garlic, with or without the kick of fresh red chilies.
Explore our Vietnamese salads, including the crunchy green papaya salad with peanuts and prawn crackers. The star of the show is the restaurant’s Ph?, a national dish featuring aromatic, healthy rice noodle soup. Customise it with a side plate of fresh herbs, an essential part of enhancing the dish's flavours. Dive into all of the Pho variations like tender beef brisket slow cooked in the in house broth, paired with enoki, shiitake, and button mushrooms.
For more dishes, enjoy the wok fried flat rice noodles with lemongrass, chilli, and Asian greens, topped with peanuts and nu?c ch?m. At Pho, the team invites you to experience the richness of Vietnamese cuisine, where each dish tells a story of authenticity and taste. The restaurant is open between Monday and Thursday between 12 and 10pm, and on Friday and Saturday between 12 and 10.30pm, on Sunday, the restaurant is open between 12 and 9pm.
