Parisian caviar experts Petrossian have launched a gourmet café on the same site as their first London boutique and deli. Sitting opposite the iconic Michelin building on Fulham Road in South Kensington, the intimate café boasts just 16 covers and serves an array of hot and cold dishes and deli plates, alongside fine wines, champagne and vodka.
Guests can enjoy a curated menu of Petrossian delicacies and cult recipes at its first permanest UK location, with examples including an organic soft-boiled egg served with Ossetra caviar, a selection of its famous taramasalata, truffle tartine, various types of smoked salmon and its signature ‘Petrossian Croque’ which is served with luxurious additions including caviar, truffle or pata negra.
The SW3 boutique, deli and gourmet café offers an upmarket and distinctively retro feel throughout, with its beautiful teal-blue exterior reflected inside via various furnishings and finishing touches. A glass counter showcasing its range of deli products offers customers the chance to sample products, with smoked salmon sliced in front of the customer and taramasalata made on site. While white tablecloths and wood-panelled walls offer a smart and sophisticated setting for diners to enjoy a relaxed lunch or quick bite. Finally, knowledgeable staff are on hand to offer advice and expertise to help customers discover their caviar, smoked salmon and other delicacies.
Founded in Paris in 1920 by brothers Melkoum and Mouchegh Petrossian, the company is still fully family-owned today. Petrossian’s boutiques and restaurants have spread from the historic first location on Boulevard de Latour-Maubourg in Paris to New York, Brussels, Las Vegas and West Hollywood.
