Sort out your laptop policy. It ruined our experience and left us drinking coffee that quickly became too cold outside.
Three customers spent ages sprawled across the largest table in the venue, nursing near empty cups of coffee, making it impossible for others to sit at the table, while other larger groups were squeezed around teeny tables for two. Our group of three recieved a filthy territorial look from one of the laptop users when I looked in the direction of the table, so we were forced to sit in the increasingly cold outside, where our coffees which were served at what may have been the perfect temperature indoors very quickly became too cold. Staff were apologetic, but seemed unable to enforce a laptop policy that didn'y apprear to be clearly laid out to customers before they settle in in an entitled manner that's uncomfortable for staff to deal with. When we left after coffee, cakes and a chat, they were still sprwaled out with their empty cups, and I even noticed the one who'd given me a filthy look and who was occuppying over 1/3 or the huge table had her laptop plugged in so that the cable stretched between tables, being a potential trip hazard.
I'd suggest a notice limiting laptop use to smaller tables, or clearly stating that during busy times, laptop users are requested to try not to take up more than one seat and to be considerate of other customers.
The coffee may have got four or more stars as potentially good coffee if it hadn't got cold so quickly outside. The cakes were nice enough - but not sufficiently amazing enough to improve the experience.
