I booked this restaurant for my husband's 30th birthday and it was appalling. When we arrived we were sat on a table that looked like it had been crammed together last minute, it was so tight and the table legs were wobbly. We asked to be moved and we were then sat on another tiny table. Once we ordered our starters the food and drinks were crammed on the table we could barely move our hands to eat as there was no space. We asked to be moved to a bigger table but were informed the bigger tables are for groups of 4 however they sat another couple down on a table for 4 which was absurd.
To think I chose this restaurant over a Mayfair restaurant due to the restaurants fake advertising. Don't expect to get any dry ice on food or bubble smoke on drinks unless your a blogger. There is no jalebi on the menu, there was no karak chai. Pictures of food shows 3 lamb chops you only get two tiny ones. Food looks nothing like what you see on their insta. What you see on bloggers insta with all the gimmicks you will not get unless your a blogger. This restaurant does not care about its 'regular customers'. Don't believe the insta hype it's only for the clout, fake clout to be precise. To think it was my husband's 30th and they made no effort whatsoever. We were told they had no dry ice and the bubble smoke machine wasn't working however funnily enough it was working for the blogger who was sat upstairs. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had in a London restaurant, you get better treatment in your local PFC. Don't believe the fake advertising, this place was a joke. I have unfollowed a few bloggers because of this as it is unfair to their followers that they review restaurants for their impeccable service only for the followers to visit and not receive the same treatment. There are so many other new restaurants that actually believe in the notion that all customers should be treated equally. Sadly Noir failed at this miserably. We left after our starters were served.
