The Ned, Soho House’s gargantuan hotel complex in the City, has launched Taco Tuesdays.
At its California-style restaurant Malibu Kitchen, Tuesdays are now dedicated to everyone’s favourite Mexican snack – a plate of soft tacos.
Every Tuesday, guests can enjoy a meal of two tacos from a tempting selection, as well as a side dish and a dessert, all for just £27. The price also includes a Picante de la Casa cocktail (Soho House’s take on a Margarita) to wash it all down.
Taco fillings include meat, fish and vegetarian options
The taco menu includes Cali-style takes on the popular foodstuff – think veggie options of grilled pineapple with sweet potato, kale and sweet corn or pulled jackfruit with coleslaw and tofu mayonnaise, while meatier options see pulled beef with pickled jalapeno, sour cream and baby gem, and shredded chicken with grape salsa, sriracha and spring onion.
Fancy fish instead? Try the tacos stuffed with sea bream, panko, green papaya and pico de gallo, or the ahi tuna option, paired with mango, pickled beetroot, sesame puffed quino and miso.
The taco deal includes a cocktail on the side
As well as Taco Tuesdays, Malibu Kitchen has also launched its new 3-5 Menu. This means that every day of the week (excluding weekends), guests can tuck into two courses for £15 or add a glass of Prosecco for £20, when ordering between 3 and 5pm.
Start off with small bites including taro chips and crudité with avocado dip, or raw vegetarian rolls with mango, herbs, chilli and spicy nuts. Mains meanwhile include sea bream tacos with panko, green papaya and pico de gallo or rice bowl filled with kale, fermented vegetables, almond and basil.
