The London Seafood Festival at Battersea Power Station is back

The London Seafood Festival at Battersea Power Station is in full swing from today and if you’re a seafood lover, avid foodie or just want a great weekend out, seas the day and pop down for a visit to leave you feeling as happy as a clam.

The festival, from 12 to 16 June, will bring together chefs, seafood maestros, restaurants, bars and shops. Be sure to visit from Friday to Sunday to take advantage of the free riverside festival with street food, live music, cooking demos and more.

You can bring the whole family along to enjoy the festivities. Kiddies can marvel at the Bubble Wizard, Miss Ballooniverse, Ocho the Octopus and the St Ives mermaid, while the adults can sip on Japanese whisky, do some sake tasting and get a Battersea brewery tour.

Some festival highlights include the exclusive oyster masterclass on the Thames with Wright Brothers on the 13th, where guests will be taken on a whirlwind river taxi ride, passing famous London landmarks on the MBNA Thames Clippers while oyster experts from Wright Brothers dishe up oysters, teaching you more about the delicacy. End the experience with an included two-course dinner at Wright Brothers Battersea.

Another treat on the lineup is the Japanese whisky and seafood bites programme with Tonkotsu and Nikka Whisky where Nikka will explain the distillation process, flavour profiles, how to drink it and will serve whisky tastings matched with seafood snacks from Tonkotsu’s menu.
