A The Bear-themed food truck is coming to London this summer

As season three of The Bear returns to our screens this week, we’ve heard word that a The Bear-themed food truck will be travelling around London this summer.

Disney+ has teamed up with the team at digital recipe platform Mob Kitchen to create an ‘immersive dining experience’ inspired by the popular comedy-drama. It will be popping up at various locations across London from now until the 4 August, serving dishes inspired by the show.

The menus are created by the Mob team and vary at each location. However, an example of one of them can be found below:

  • Cheese and Onion Hash Brown (skewered hash brown served with extra mature cheddar cheese custard, burnt leeks and chives)
  • Glazed Pork Belly Skewers (‘Pork floss’ in a ‘signature glaze’ topped with chicharron (pork crackling) and spring onion)
  • 12-Spice Fried Chicken (12-spice buttermilk fried chicken, garlic Kewpie mayo, crispy chicken skin and pickled red chilli)
  • Beek Cheek Doughnut (braised beef cheek, roast bone marrow, mature cheddar cheese with fermented chilli and crispy shallots in a sugar-topped doughnut)

While you won’t get to try any actual dishes from the show (we were hoping for Sydney’s drool-worthy omelette, too) there’s plenty to dig your teeth into.

In terms of locations, the food truck will be stationed below on the following dates:

    • Boxpark, 25 June
    • Soho House Festival, 4 July
    • BST Hyde Park Festival, 29 June to 14 July
    • Wilderness, 1 to 4 August

So, when is The Bear season three returning to our screens? The show, starring Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edibiri and Matty Matheson, will launch on Thursday 27 June on Disney+, where viewers will be able to stream all 10 episodes.

In other news, Leon has launched an affordable coffee subscription to rival Pret's.
