Newlyweds football legend Rio Ferdinand and former TOWIE star Kate Ferdinand were living their best lives as they took over an entire Nando's restaurant in London to host an epic Christmas party, just weeks after their extravagant nuptials in Marmaris.
Cult-chicken chain Nando's made a custom festive feast menu for the couple at its Camberwell branch with all the signature peri-peri dishes, plus some delicious lobster. Kate and Rio’s special party menu featured classic Nando’s chicken drizzled with peri-peri gravy for a Christmassy twist.
The pair documented much of the evening on Instagram, with snaps and videos featuring Rio crowning his wife with a golden hat surrounded by the festive decorations. The restaurant was decked out in style with festive Christmassy decorations, replete with sparkly party hats, and plenty of colourful crackers. The Ferdinand’s sure know how to kick off the season’s festivities in style.
Newly-weds Rio and Kate are still keeping the party going after their star-studded nuptials in Turkey in October. They also recently hosted an elegant Christmas dinner party for friends and family at their stunning home in Cheshire.
The millionaire footballer splashed out on the Nandos feast for their nearest and dearest, for their first Christmas as a married couple. The Camberwell branch of Nando's provided a real treat with the personalised menus, which featured halloumi sticks, peri peri wings, and plenty of sides for the couple’s guests.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Kate is known for being strict with her diet, but she let her hair down and enjoyed the indulgent spread of chicken, chips, and natas, writing on Instagram that about the lavish evening: “this is what dreams are made of”. The reality TV starlet probably doesn't have a recipe for Nando's chicken in her new fitness book Fitter, Happier, Healthier, which is out now.
