Jamie Oliver has remarried his wife Jools in a romantic ceremony surrounded by their five children in the Maldives.
The celebrity chef has been married to Jools for 23 years and the pair share five children together; Poppy, 21, Daisy, 19, Petal, 14, Buddy, 12, and River, six. Revealing the news on his Instagram feed, Jamie shared snaps of him and his wife dancing on a sand cay in the middle of the Indian Ocean surrounded by turqoise water and clear skies.
Jools is wearing an off the shoulder dress while Jamie sports a pale blue suit, a detail which fans were quick to spot paid tribute to the original wedding outfit he wore when he said his vows for the first time back on the 24 June 2000 at All Saints Church in Rickling, Essex. The pair had already been dating for eight years before tying the knot.
Additional pictures from the vow renewal show a sweet beach picnic set-up with cushions and candles scattered around. The ceremony seems to have taken place in the daytime, with the family still there for golden hour and sunset pictures.
Jamie's caption reads, ‘Morning all, Me & @joolsoliver got married again ! Yep After 23 years together, we thought it would be a special moment to celebrate renewing our wedding vows before the kids all start leaving the nest. It was really special, funny and romantic with the words in the ceremony making more sense having come this far together. It seems like a blink since the first wedding which we kept very privet apart from the paparazzi at the village church we thought it would be a happy and joyful moment to share with you all this Easter. We’ve always dreamed of going to the Maldives and it was just as you would have dreamed, simply amazing ! a massive thank you to all the team at @discoversoneva for blowing our minds and making this moment so special and memorable big love guys Jamie oxxxxxxxxx [sic]’

Jools reinforced Jamie’s sentiments, captioning her own post with the following comment: ‘So wonderful the first time we did it again ?? What an incredible memory to treasure so happy, emotional, romantic and beautiful. Seeing the children’s little faces made the whole experience so special. I could only have dreamed of being on a holiday this magical thank you so much @discoversoneva your care, attention to detail and unbelievable kindness made everything so special almost feels like it was a dream ?????? xxx [sic]’
