It is finally that time again, Halloween is over and it’s time to properly get stuck into Christmas, the most magical season of the year. By that we mean eating all the Christmas sandwiches you can get your hands on, drinking a Pumpkin Spice Latte or two and most importantly trying everything (yes, everything) from Greggs Christmas menu, which has now launched in all stores across the UK.
Everything you need to know about Greggs Christmas menu
Christmas menu announcements are coming thick and fast now we are properly into November, with both Starbucks and Pret unveiling theirs in the last few days. Now it’s Greggs turn to delight customers with its Christmas themed goodies.
When does the Greggs Christmas menu launch?
You’ll be happy to know that the Greggs Christmas menu goes on sale nationwide 7 November, but if you’re lucky enough to be in Newcastle, you might have already gotten a taste of the festive range as they won a competition organised by Greggs to get the festive bake before anyone else in the country.
What savoury items are on the Greggs Christmas menu?
When it comes to savoury items, you can of course find the popular festive bake filled with chicken, sage, onion stuffing and sweet cured bacon. Other items making a comeback include the Christmas lunch sandwich, soup and the pigs under blankets baguette. Pigs in blankets also feature but will only be available in selected stores.
What sweet items are on the Greggs Christmas menu?
You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to sweet treats this year. With eight different cakes, biscuits and mince pie options to choose from, try the Christmas cake slice, Christmas tree biscuit or the admittedly very cute two-pack of chocolate covered, caramel penguin biscuits.
Hot drinks you’ll find on the Greggs Christmas menu?
If you’ve had enough of the Pumpkin Spice Latte trend, Greggs has some equally as festive hot drinks on the menu including mint hot chocolate and mocha as well as a salted caramel latte.
How much does the Greggs Christmas menu cost?
Everything on the menu is priced between 85p and £3, but customers may be shocked to find out that there has been a 5p increase to the price of the Festive Bake. No word yet as to why Greggs have done this but we still think it’s worth the price.
