You might know DJ Khaled for his chart-topping music (as well as his catchphrase ‘another one’ in most of his tunes) but the latest venture for the American DJ and record producer celebrates a slightly different passion of his: chicken wings.
Yes, DJ Khaled is launching a new chicken wing brand, fittingly named Another Wing, in five countries across three continents (totaling 165 sites) including two restaurants in London. The new openings are set to open in Kentish Town and Hornsey, so good news for North Londoners.
He's calling it ‘the biggest restaurant launch in history’, although here’s the catch: there won't be any real-life restaurants as such, with the new kitchens offering food available for takeaway only. Ok, so it’s the biggest virtual restaurant launch in history.
The award-winning artist has partnered with US delivery service REEF to launch the huge new brand, while in the UK, Another Wing will be available to order via delivery services such as UberEats and Deliveroo.
While the restaurants haven’t launched just yet (the official date is yet to be announced), the menu is ready to view and features a whole lotta chicken wings (and sauce).
Bone-in or boneless wings and chicken tenders are available in various meal combos, while the real crowning glory is DJ Khaled’s ‘Success Sauces’ including Un Un Un Believable Buffalo, Honey! Honey! Hot Honey and Suffering From Success Sesame Teriyaki.
There will be various sides on offer, too, including truffle parm fries, onion rings and extra celery (all meal combos come with celery sticks).
DJ Khaled said: “Everything I do is big. My team and I are focused on launching new partnerships, new ideas and spreading love to my fans all around the world. Partnering with REEF for this launch is another new exciting venture which allows me to introduce some amazing wings, to everyone, everywhere.”
