Brunches are now ten a penny in London, but the latest offering from M Restaurants offers a slightly newer take on the mid-morning ritual.
No, M Restaurant's new Beauty & Beast brunch is not themed around Belle and her overly hairy lover, but instead reflects a food menu which is divided into two categories – one with light and fresh ‘beauty’ options, and the other with hearty and naughty ‘beastly’ choices.
'Beastly' guests can tuck into steak

Guests are invited to choose two dishes from either menu, so it’s up to you whether you want to be a brunching beauty or a beast. From the lighter side, you can tuck into dishes such as cobia sashimi with white soy sauce, cucumber and aged vinegar, or burrata with peas, wasabi and cucumber.
If you’re feeling monstrous, you can instead feast on hearty dishes including Botswana ribeye and chips, and chicken karaage with a chilli caramel glaze, nori kewpie mayonnaise and fermented daikon.
Pick from a Negroni or a Cosmopolitan

Did we mention that the brunch is bottomless? Guests can wash down their meals with free-flowing booze, which has also been split into two categories. From the beastly options, you can choose from a Negroni or Old Fashioned Twist, Whiskey Sour, Cuba Libre or draft beer, while on the beauty side of things, there is a choice of Peach Bellini’s, Aperol Spritz, Cosmopolitan, Espresso Martini, Prosecco or rosé.
The brunch launches on 23 March and will be served every Saturday from 11am-4pm at both Threadneedle Street and Victoria M Restaurants. The menu is priced at £55 per person and includes two courses with bottomless cocktails, beer, wine and Prosecco for two hours.
