To celebrate St Patrick’s Day, creative masterminds Bompas & Parr are turning their Lost Lagoon a glowing emerald green for one weekend only.
The Lost Lagoon is a ticketed theatrical immersive experience which has been created by Bompas & Parr in collaboration with drinks brand Captain Morgan. The Lagoon can be found at West 12 Shopping Centre in Shepherd's Bush, and from 14-17 March, it will be transformed into a fluorescent green body of water.

Guests are invited to embark on a nautical adventure, where they will sail across the glowing emerald lagoon, while gathering ingredients from various ‘islands’, which will eventually result in them creating their own rum punch.
Seafarers can also celebrate with a special edition Captain Morgan and Guinness Punch cocktail, which they’ll be able to wash down in honour of Ireland’s patron saint.

The Lagoon's green water uses the same technique Bompas & Parr previously used to turn the river Lea bright green (in an ecologically safe manner) as part of the 2012 Open East Festival. The science behind it comes from the method used by the city of Chicago to annually dye their river green to honour Ireland's patron saint and was developed with Durham University's Professor John Girkin.
Tickets are priced from £25 per person and include two free drinks. The Lost Lagoon will be sticking around until early April (although it’s green shimmer will only last from 14-17 March). To book a ticket, click here.
