If you’re still struggling to come up with a plan for Mother’s Day (which, by the way, is happening on Sunday 31 March), consider the latest restaurant collaboration between Indian chef Asma Khan and caterers Tart London.
Asma, who runs the delightful Darjeeling Express in Soho’s Kingly Court, will team up with Tart London’s restaurant space inside Belgravia’s Eccleston Yards for a Mother’s Day brunch to remember.
Wild by Tart opened at the beginning of this year as a private events space, with a fully-functioning restaurant set to open to the public sometime in April. On Mothering Sunday, guests can expect to enjoy a delicious menu which will feature a whole host of traditional Indian dishes, as well as a few Indian twists on classic brunch staples.
Asma's Netflix special will be screened at the brunch

The brunch will run from midday until 4pm, while as a special treat, guests will also get to watch a screening of Asma’s episode of Netflix sensation, Chef’s Table.
Food will be served family-style on long communal tables, and dishes you can expect to tuck into on the day include paratha with aloo dum, baked eggs with okra, aubergine and coriander green chutney, and Bihari phulki served with tamarind, chilli and coriander chutney.
The feast will be bookended by welcome drinks of a spiced Bloody Mary and a homemade masala chai, and petit fours which will include honey and turmeric truffles.
