Mi Casa Su Casa which you'll probably have heard as the Spanish for my house is your house, is also known as make yourself at home. And, that’s exactly what this Spanish restaurant in Blackpool tries to encourage. The beauty of this restaurant is that you won't know you're on the British coast, instead, you'll feel like you could be on holiday somewhere around the Mediterranean, enjoying scrumptious tapas and beer. The inside of this restaurant isn't huge, and so there are around ten or less tables. The interiors are simple, but welcoming, and the colourful touches add to the traditional Spanish culture. The kitchen is open, and the staff are dressed in smart black outfits, honouring the traditional Spanish mesero.
On the menu, you may find canapes of salmon with cherry tomatoes and herbed cream cheese on toasted bread, along with homemade mushroom pate and pairings of chorizo with salami and manchego cheese. The vegan tapas options include mushrooms in garlic with onion and chilli peppers, along with seasoned patatas bravas, and green beans blended with pine nuts and garlic. Other dishes include the classic Spanish omelette with sliced vine tomatoes and balsamic glaze, along with prawn and tuna salads, and sides of fries and garlic mushrooms. If you like meat and fish, try the pan fried, tender king prawns with fresh lemon and chilli, some deep fried squid with aioli, or teriyaki salmon. Other options include marinated pork fillet, and fried pieces of chicken fillet in a red wine and honey sauce.
The menu changes frequently, as it likes to reflect what is best available each season, and keep customers coming back for more, so be sure to check out the menu before you visit.
