Market Harbourough is a market town in Leicestershire and lies just near the border of Northamptonshire. Market Harborough is well worth your time to visit, as a quintessential and beautiful town where there is something to enjoy for everyone. It doesn't matter if you're after some rural adventure, want to take a trip to the theatre in the evening, or stay in a luxurious hotel. You'll find something in this part of Leicestershire to suit your desires. If you do find yourself in Market Harborough, we'd recommend a trip to the Harborough Museum or Theatre. And, with a bit more time, you may want to take a day trip to Rockingham Castle. This castle was a former royal residence and hunting lodge and sits in Rockingham Forest. The castle itself was built on the instruction of William the Conqueror, and has been within the same family now for over 450 years.
