Marco Pierre White is known across the world as an acclaimed chef, restaurateur and TV personality. He has a variety of brands in the UK and further afield, and his steakhouse in Liverpool is a gem within the city. Located within the contemporary boutique Hotel Indigo, Steakhouse Bar & Grill Liverpool has been designed to reflect the rich industrial heritage of its Liverpool location on Chapel Street, which in years gone by was home to the city's cotton trade and music legacy. Guests are treated like family at Marco’s, and the staff want you to feel you’re welcomed in with a sense of warmth and relaxation. By making up their own unique blend of affordable glamour and understated elegance, the team behind Marco’s have worked with the chef himself to craft a menu that caters to diverse palates and revolves around timeless dishes, made using fine, locally sourced ingredients.
Starters at Steakhouse Bar & Grill Liverpool include a beetroot and goat's cheese salad with candied walnuts, Merlot vinegar, The Governor's French onion soup with croutons and gruyere cheese, and a classic prawn cocktail with Marie Rose sauce and brown bread and butter. Signature steaks range from the fillet steak au poivre, with a fricassée of woodland mushrooms, toasted sourdough, buttered leaf spinach and peppercorn sauce to one topped with king prawns. The freshly ground beef burgers are all finished with barbeque glaze, iceberg lettuce, beef tomato and served in a brioche bun with Heinz ketchup and Koffmann fries, and include the American with melted Cheddar, cured bacon and sweet pickled cucumber, and the British with bacon and mayonnaise. There are also dedicated menus for afternoon tea, vegan diets, Sunday roasts and children.
