Loli's is in Swansea Marina. It serves a range of predominantly Spanish dishes alongside favourites from across the Mediterranean with a friendly atmosphere that means you'll always be greeted with a smile. Step inside and although you're in the heart of the city, you'll feel like you've been whisked away to warm, relaxing Mediterranean shores. Setting the restaurant apart from others is the true passion of their talented chefs — plates both look and taste great. The cosy and romantic setting is the perfect setting for any occasion, and you'll feel like you're in a home away from home.
For the table, try the Mediterranean board with beetroot hummus, aioli and sundried tomato dips, olives, pickled and bread. Then, dive head first into the delicious Spanish tapas dishes. There are peeled king prawns sauteed in garlic, paprika and chilli, along with croquettas with a filling of the day, delicious deep fried aubergine with molasses and hand carved iberico ham with bread. The asturian fabada is a stew of white beans in a rich tomato sauce with pork shoulder, bacon and chorizo, whilst the burrata is injected with clementine, fennel and mint in a charred salad. Truffled mushrooms with potato puree make for an excellent choice if you enjoy rich tastes, and the Galician octopus comes with a little spice, but is light enough to feel fresh.
If you need something a little more, add some parmesan truffled chips to the side of your tapas, or go for a bigger dish altogether. There are plenty of pizzas to choose from, including the Spanish style with sobrasada, serrano ham, padron peppers, tetilla cheese and aioli, and the little marmaid with sauteed calamari, prawns and mussels with garlic butter – this one has no cheese.
