King’s House boasts three venues in one tastefully packaged building, with a large bar and a late-night loft showcasing some of the best cocktails in London, and a sizeable outdoor terrace for those wanting to relax al fresco. It’s the sort of spot that can see you spending an entire day there without ever having to leave the premises. From a bottomless brunch to kick things off, through to an afternoon of drinks in the garden under the perfectly floral pergolas, to finally sipping on cocktails in the loft until the early hours.
King’s House is another addition to Clive Watson’s bar portfolio, who has long been a leader of the city’s bar and restaurant scene. The food menu has been developed with MasterChef winner Dhruv Baker, who brings a British-Basque inspired selection to this Chelsea haunt. Expect the likes of patatas bravas, 28-day aged steak burger, and of course a Basque cheesecake with cherry compote, to reconfirm the Basque roots in the kitchen. The bottomless brunch and Sunday roast menus provide honed experiences, but there are also always canape and buffet options available for when you’re looking to feed a crowd.
Food and beverage connoisseur Anna Sebastian has imparted her wisdom to help create an extensive drinks list, including a selection of wine each with its own tasting notes, and a cocktail list split between the classics and a ‘royal’ assortment. Every one of the latter giving a nod to the monarch, such as ‘His Majesty's Mule’ comprising of vodka, King's Ginger, fresh lime and Champagne.
The loft is made up of exposed brick work, plush leather sofas and a striking bar painted royal blue to ensure you’ll always find your way there once the lights are turned down and the music’s turned up. Available for private hire, King’s House provides a venue where the team have all bases covered.
