Jasper’s Tea Rooms can be found in Llandaff, a small city just outside of the capital. This beautiful part of South Wales has one of the country’s most gorgeous cathedrals, has plenty of charm and oozes with character. Here, you’ll find quaint shops, charming pubs and plenty of green space. Jasper’s Tea Rooms has a traditional feel in its space, with a sweet courtyard garden, delicious menus and daily newspapers for customers to read whilst enjoying a bite to eat and hot drink.
You’ll find all the typical cafe dishes on the menu at Jasper’s - enjoy toasties, paninis and freshly made salads, which are perfect for a midday bite to eat. But without jumping ahead, if you’re visiting at breakfast time, why not try the crumpets, toasted bagel or cheese on toast. At lunchtime, why not try a hot jacket potato with fillings of Brie, hummus, bacon, cheese, beans and other delicious favourites.
There are also more local dishes on the menu, ranging from local and seasonally sourced ingredient based soup, Welsh lamb cawl, Jasper’s own recipe Welsh rarebit with mango chutney and salad, and a homemade corned beef pie. If you’re visiting for afternoon tea, you’ll enjoy a pot of tea with a toasted tea cake, fruit scone with jam and cream, finger sandwiches and a plate of cakes. What’s not to love? It’s a true British classic.
The drinks are perhaps just as delicious as the food options. Choose from coffee options of espresso, Americano, flat white, cappuccino, macchiato, latte, mocha, cinnamon latte, hot chocolate (and a luxury version), a selection of teas, herbal teas and decaf varieties, and many flavoured syrups to spruce up your drink choice. Little ones will love the ice cream milkshake - choose from chocolate, strawberry, raspberry, banana, mint and caramel.
